Think and Grow Rich Book Review

Title/Author: Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

Reason for Reading: Pleasure

Pre-thought: Very skeptical about books that offer secrets to making millions.

Recap of Book: Think and Grow rich is about specific ways of thinking and doing things habitually so that they embed into your subconscious. It focuses heavily on Andrew Carnegie's success formula.

As you progress through this book you will begin to realize the entire focus of this book involves controlling your strongest emotions and thoughts so that they embed a way of thinking into your subconscious mind that changes your financial mindset.

You will learn how to change manipulate your desires so that they become reality. Anything you want badly enough that you will put it through the steps in the book will make it readily available to you.

You'll learn all of the excuses and fears commonly held by people that hold them back from becoming rich. You'll be able to recognize these fears and excuses for yourself and stop them in their tracks.

You'll learn theories about sex drives and why people often become successful after they reach the age of 40 when their sex drive starts to diminish.

Interesting Points: The idea that you can manifest your desires is not unheard of. How many times have you wanted something so bad that you did anything you could to get it and eventually things seemed to fall into place as if by magic. Once you set your mind on something, keep your focus, and be persistent about it you will most likely get whatever it is that you desire. For most people money is not a strong enough desire for that to become true because most people treat money as just an exchange to get an item they desire or things they could buy with it.

Recommended Audience: Those that are looking for ways to help align their thoughts with becoming rich.

After-thought: This book was an interesting read. It has a very similar theme to a lot of other books and reaffirms the power of thinking through this majority.
